If you have never created a mosaic give it a try!
It's all about using bits and pieces of lots of different materials to create your own version of the world as you see it. It's also about color, shape, creativity, functionality and fun :)
You can mosaic anything. MDF shapes, styrofoam, ceramic, glass, all types of trays, teapots, bowling balls, a porch, mailbox, shower stalls, vases, kitchen backsplashes, jewelry, candle holders, headboards, water fountains, mirrors and whatever stands still long enough to glue some tiles onto!
Here is a picture of one of my very first mosaics. He's groovy...in fact his name is "Groovy Cat." He's mine :)
